All classes will be held at the new facility at Fox Studios.
Acting For Camera Classes will start at the new time of 6:15.

To playback the video files from the new cameras, please use VideoLAN to watch and Handbrake to convert to smaller files (for emailing). More detailed instructions for this will be posted in the next few days.

Your video files are stored on the SD card in the following path;
YourSDCard/Private/AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM/filename.MTS

An 8GB SDHC SD Card is recommended (JB-HiFi stock these). Depending on your computer, you may need an SD card reader.
Be careful of off-brand/no-name cheap cards as they may not work well with the cameras.

G.I. Film Festival in Washington D.C

Congratulations to our own Roger Sciberras and David John Kelly (DJK) whose film "SACRAMENT" has been selected to screen at the prestigious G.I. Film Festival in Washington D.C. on May 16th. They will be flying over to attend both the screening and a Q&A session afterwards. The G.I. Film Festival is the only one of it's kind that was specifically created to celebrate films (feature/short/documentary) that honor the lives and sacrifices of American servicemen and women from all branches of the US military. The festival is in it's 6th year running and is attended not only by Hollywood luminaries, but also members of congress as well as active duty and retired military personnel. A big honor.

David Kelly (DJK) Sacrament

Congratulations David for not only winning a film award for the film Sacrament in USA but has also been informed that he won BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR for his performance. The festival is called the Creative Arts Film Festival. Enjoy picking up the 2 awards in USA!!

Great news from Demi Bryant

Landed a presenting job for a live online game show called Cash Call! The 5th week of filming has just started and it's running for 13 weeks! It's on 5 nights a week from 7pm-9pm!

I've also been helping out a friend from time to time co-hosting his radio segment he does once a week. Really enjoying that too.

Just wanted to send you an email to say thank you for all that you have taught me, this is a great step to hopefully bigger things in the future!

Congratulations! Your project SACRAMENT has been chosen as a Gold Award Winner at the 2011 California Film Awards!  You should be very proud of this distinction as yours is one of only a small handful of select projects awarded this exclusive honor.  Only a maximum of 10 projects per competition category were selected to receive this distinguished level of recognition

David and Roger will be attending the awards on January 28th in San Diego

Having worked with you I wanted to share some exciting news. I have been nominated for a Logie in the category of Most Popular New Male Talent! Hard to believe that I'm still considered New (but that's a good thing).

Congratulations and well done to our following On Camera alumni:

Samantha Tolj who has scored a series regular on the ever popular "PACKED TO THE RAFTERS".

Brooke Ryan who has scored a guest role on the brand new Australian TV crime/drama "BROTHERS IN ARMS".

And Damian Sommerland who has scored a small role as a British Officer in the World War 1 feature "FORBIDDEN GROUND" shooting in Dubbo.

I have some 2012 news for you, I recently lead the feature film "Deceit" that is currently in the process of Post through Dragon Horse Films, as well as this I just landed a lead the new Qantas commercial, shooting in the upcoming weeks. I also have a short film Directed by Sophie Miller and starring Myself and Lucas Pittaway, titled, "Spine" that will have a release on the festival circuit this year.  Very excited for the coming year and hope to see you soon!
